Thank you so much for your work here. Do you speak Bislama? --Caro de Segeda (talk) 11:24, 19 Oktoba 2021 (UTC)
- Hello. No I don't really speak it but I'm using two dictionaries and trying to explore the way how the written Bislama is using by local media and in official documents, so I would describe my knowledge as 'bi-0.5' (Babel-like estimate). I'm here for long. --Wolverène (talk) 17:55, 19 Oktoba 2021 (UTC)

How we will see unregistered users
[edit source]Hi!
You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.
When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.
Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.
If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.
We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.
Thank you. /Johan (WMF)

Template for cities
[edit source]Hi! I have created a template for cities, you can see it here. --Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:02, 11 Jun 2022 (UTC)
Japanese
[edit source]Hi Wolverène, how are you? I wanted to ask you how do you say "Japanese" (the language) in Bislama because in Japan appears as "Japanis" and I would have thought it should be "TokTok Japan". Also, how would you say "Arabic language"? --Caro de Segeda (talk) 07:22, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. I'd say 'Toktok Japan' (with 'Japanis' as second possible variant of spelling), and 'Toktok Arebia' ('Arebik' as an alternative), respectively. The term of Arebia comes from known dictionaries, and these ways of naming Japanese and Arabic languages don't contradict with how we're writing here. I believe it also have to be understandable for Bislama speakers occasionally appearing here. --Wolverène (talk) 07:32, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying it. I would like to ask you whether it would be possible for you to add some information about Vanuatu's history to the country's article. Right now it has just one line. Caro de Segeda (talk) 07:57, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
- I have found Kapitol, shall we change it to Kaptel then? Caro de Segeda (talk) 08:09, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
- Fixed. I'm going to try to expand the article about Vanuatu but I can't guarantee the 100% accuracy of spelling. --Wolverène (talk) 08:22, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will try to improve the template for countries as I don't need to know the language to do so, it is just adding numbers. Caro de Segeda (talk) 09:49, 6 Septemba 2022 (UTC)
